Where to Buy the Nike Air Huarache “Escape”
Hitting shelves in 2003, the Nike Air Huarache “Escape” is, like many sneakers of the era, a collector’s essential. The then-shelf sitter made an epic aftermarket surge years later. Though that has calmed down amidst recent Air Jordan and Dunk hype, the love for the colorway has not waivered amongst old heads. Never having seen a retro, it now appears that Nike will be bringing back the sneaker for the Huarache’s 30th birthday bash this Spring/Summer.
Though first looks at the 2021 pair are yet to materialize, it is expected to arrive in a 1:1 make of Bisque/Storm Grey-Rope- White. The former hit the toe suede, while Storm Grey — a blue-tinted hue — hits the vamp-to-heel neoprene. Beneath that shroud sits a white base, with matching white accents along the midsole and lace sets. A mid-tan “Rope” rests across the midfoot overlay, while classic plac plastics and rubbers round out the design.
