The Nike Total 90 III "Soccer Ball" is Available Now

Nike’s Total 90 III revival has already leaned heavily into its football DNA, but the Nike Total 90 III “Soccer Ball” might be the most direct nod to the model’s pitch-born past yet.

Following the pink pair that recently surfaced with a raised football-panel upper, this new version takes the idea back to its most recognizable form. The women’s-exclusive Nike Total 90 III “Soccer Ball” arrives in a classic white-and-black setup, with the upper dressed to resemble a traditional football. Raised hexagonal paneling covers the leather build, while glossy black sections are worked across the toe, quarter, eyestay, and heel to complete the ball-inspired effect.

The theme is obvious, but it works especially well on the Total 90 III. Originally built as an indoor football shoe in the early 2000s, the model already carries enough sport-specific shape and branding to make the concept feel natural rather than forced. A black Swoosh sits at the forefoot and lateral side, while “total90III” embroidery appears at the heel for a direct link back to the line’s original identity.

The rest of the pair keeps things clean. White ribbon-style laces soften the look, while the low-profile sole unit continues the model’s move into lifestyle territory. Nike also adds oversized “90” branding across the medial side and graphic insoles, rounding out the theme without shifting too far from the shoe’s simple black-and-white base.
