Victor Wembanyama’s Nike Atelier Total 90 Channels French Football Heritage

Nike is bringing Victor Wembanyama into a new lane with Nike Atelier, a premium project shaped by French football heritage, elevated craftsmanship, and the Spurs star’s own approach to style.

Centered around the Nike Atelier Total 90, the collection reimagines one of Nike Football’s most recognizable silhouettes through a stripped-back, lifestyle-focused lens. Inspired by the Total 90 Laser III, the pair keeps the model’s football DNA intact while refining it into a cleaner, more elevated design.

The shoe arrives in a tonal white build with a smooth leather upper, oversized fold-over tongue, and subtle Nike Atelier branding. Underfoot, a translucent Air Max-style sole unit gives the pair a more lifestyle-driven finish, moving the Total 90 from the pitch into a more refined everyday space.

Nike describes the project as being shaped by instinct and precision through a distinctly French lens. For Wembanyama, that connection makes sense. His rise as one of basketball’s most unique athletes has always carried a strong sense of individuality, and Nike Atelier leans into that same mix of performance background, personal style, and cultural storytelling.

“My lifestyle influences my style, and comfort always comes first,” Wembanyama said.

Alongside the footwear, Nike Atelier also introduces a bespoke LenoWoven jacket, which reinterprets performance innovation through a more elevated design approach. The jacket is crafted from a cotton yarn adaptation of material technology originally developed for Nike Football boots, further tying the collection back to the sport’s design language.

The Nike Atelier Total 90 will be available for preorder via a SNKRS Reserve on July 20 through The Broken Arm in Paris, Dover Street Market Paris, and SNKRS in North America. The pair is expected to retail for around $470.
