Nike Air Huarache “Glitch” Drops July 15

Tinker Hatfield’s well-celebrated Nike Air Huarache has been on a roll since its 30th-anniversary in 2021, with many more making their way to market in 2022. Next up for the ultra-comfy trainer is this Nike Air Huarache “Glitch” that continues on from the recently-revealed Air Jordan 1 Low inspired by retro video games.
In contrast to the Air Jordan 1 Low — which is a kids release — this adult-sized Huarache looks to more modern and less whimsical glitch finishes. From the jittery Swoosh at the toe to multi-color, mismatched neoprenes that sport an array of 8-Bit patterns, the theme is as colorful as it is busy. The pair is calmed down a little by the incorporation of bone leather overlays, sail midsoles, and black caging and outsoles, but it’s livened right back up by volt tongue tags and rear pulls. The best bit sits within, with old-school computerized Nike Air motifs on the insoles rounding out the design.
