Though it’s not getting as much love as we’d like in 2022, Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 1 has still enjoyed a solid run for it’s 35th-anniversary. But according to our retail sources, the back end of the year (and early into next) will be absolutely loaded with new colorways — including this new Nike Air Max 1 “Ironstone” revealed today by sources close to House of Heat.

From a first glance, the paint boats an elegant white mesh and warm neutral suede set-up, with warming brown accents on the Swooshes, eyestays, and Air supports. That notion is furthered by warm hues applied to the sole unit; but the neutrality is countered by a strike of neon green at the tongue and insole branding. If that’s not interesting enough, the former sports both the front and back of the tag on the forward-facing side, and it comes on a mesh tongue — another atypical finish for the model.

Though a release date for this new Air Max 1 “Ironstone” has not yet been revealed, it is expected to hit shelves this Fall. Until then, enjoy an exclusive first look at the pair here below, and as always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates on its release.
