The Air Max 1 “Rush Pink” Arrives at Stateside Retailers Soon

Get ready to Rush.

Nike will be ushering in “Rush Pink” to their revered Air Max 1silhouette for spring, helped along with seasonal hits of Volt.

This new take on the Air Max 1 stays true to the OG DNA, with a classic construction in mesh, suede and leather. The former serves as the sneaker’s base, arriving in white, and is paired with tonal leather overlays. Rich Rush Pink graces the suede mudguard and Black leather Swoosh overlays ride side panels, and the pair sits atop a classic white and black sole unit. That in itself could easily present itself and an original ’87 theme: subdued colors balanced across basic blacks and whites — but it’s the vibrant Volt additions that turn this pairing from vintage-vibes to modern matter. The eye-popping hue pops up on the outsole’s forefoot, embroidered Nike Air branding and inside the visible Air unit to complete the design.
