The Nike Air Max 2090 is Back in Black (and White)

Though it started out as a ripstop-laden, athletic-inspired design, the Air Max 2090 has since found itself at the center of a lifestyle overhaul. The next to appear brings the everyman’s black and white scheme in a stealthy mix of heavy-duty canvas twill, mesh, and suede.

The pair presents it’s unique construction mostly in black, with canvas toes and heel met in the middle by nubuck-like textiles reaching from the toe to the eyestay and heel. This is then wrapped in a synthetic guard — also in black — with mesh tongues, laces, liners and heel overlays all following in hue. Bright whites are introduced in several locales, most noticeably on the midsole and Swoosh, but also at the rear pull and brand marks. The pair’s Air casette, it’s stowed supports, and its outsole all arrive in matte black finishes to complete the design.

Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see a rollout of this Nike Air Max 2090 hit select retailers in the coming weeks.
