The Next Nike Air Max 2090 Boasts a Blush “Barely Rose”

In what is shaping up to be a battle between old-school vs new-school the Nike Air Max 2090 and the Air Max 90 square off once again. This past March for Air Max Day the two went head to head with the iconic “Duck Camo” colorways and now we have the rematch and the battlefield this time is the “Barely Rose” theme.

Having just appeared on the Air Max 90, the more futuristic silhouette’s approach to the subtle hue is dressing the entire upper in multiple tonal variations across the myriad of textiles that make up the Air Max 2090 including leather, mesh and hard plastic overlays. At the shoe’s bedrock, we see a split-tone white-and-rose midsole that encapsulates the large Air unit which is framed with a tonal rubber outsole. Finishing off this design is the understated Swoosh and branding located on the tongue and heel which completes the pastel aesthetic appeal.
