Nike’s wavy new 90s-inspired Air Max 270 React has yet to release, but it’s already causing a stir amongst sneakerheads on social. Its on-trend 90s design is riding the wave of heavily-overlayed runners, but it does so without the chunk by using modernized materials on the upper. ANd while most pairs are arriving in bold, vibrant colorways, there are a few outliers, including this subdued cream/blue/pink pairing.

Sitting above its two-piece React/Air Max 270 sole unit, this Mens Air Max 270 React features a suede-feel upper, sporting slightly varying shades of cream, grey and off-white. Solid sail midsoles ad a pop of vibrancy to the muted mix, with soft pinks arriving at the heel and lacestays for the sneaker’s first hit of solid color. But the hero of the pair lays with the bold semi-translucent outsole, which comes complimented by tongue and heel branding hits. Completing the design is a fully-translucent Air Max unit in the rear, and graphic insoles, which depict a throwback Nike shoebox.
