The Air Max 90 Joins the Impending “Air Pressure” Collection
Nike’s celebration of M. Frank Rudy’s revolutionary cushioning invention will branch into another new series, with this new Nike Air Max 90 “Air Pressure” joining several other silhouettes for release this Autumn.
Borrowing a few elements seen in the “M. Frank Rudy” series — perhaps even a new branch of said collection — the pair utilizes sketchy Swoosh graphics in the rear, “EST.” insignia on the lateral Air bag wall, and blueprint insoles that showcase the proprietary tech. It’s also anchored in warm off-whites and sits atop a simple white and gold sole unit. Here, though, the pair differentiates itself through a bevy of colorful overlays of Safety Orange, Black and University Gold, white an all-new pressure gauge hang tag completes the design as a reference to the celebrated technology.
