Nike Air Max 90 “Air Sprung” Arrives February 1st

For Nike’s Air Maxlineage, releases have often been whimsical, from happy face-riddled releases to inspiration derived from the humbled bodega plastic bag. But not everything has to have a defined theme — as is the case for this playful new earth-friendly Air Max 90 “Air Sprung” that adds some vibrance to the impending Fall/Winter release schedule — and now it’s also been revealed for adults!

Featuring recycled textiles throughout its construction, namely the woven uppers, tongues, and mudguard overlays, the pair presents in a myriad of both material and color. From light bone to smokey and cool greys, to vibrant blues, pinks, yellows, and teals — the pair has a lot going on. Then there are the decorative heel Swooshes that appear to shoe a caterpillar wrapping itself around a warped Check. That makes the most sense considering the sighting of a like-colored butterfly on the insoles.
