Nike Sportswear's visible Air-donning efforts throughout the year have been largely dedicated to the Air Max 95 and Air Max Dn8, largely ignoring the 35th anniversary-celebrating Air Max 90. Although no special releases or high-profile collaborations are expected throughout the remainder of 2025, it seems the Swoosh will treat Tinker Hatfield's masterpiece to some special treatments throughout 2026.
According to internal product descriptions reviewed by House of Heat°, the Nike Air Max 90 is expected to launch in a "Black/Neon Yellow/Anthracite/Light Charcoal/Pearl Grey/White" color scheme during the first-half of next year. If the medley of tones sounds familiar, or evokes images of the iconic "Neon" Air Max 95, you have the right idea.
Never shy to reference its own work, the Nike, Inc. conglomerate has employed Sergio Lozano's disrupting color scheme throughout different product lines over the years. The Air Jordan 4 and Mercurial Vapor football boots have famously donned the heritage look. Back in 2005, Hatfield's AM90 rocked a similar color palette thanks to Dave White and size?.
Stay tuned for firm Nike.com release details and official photos of the heritage-inspired style.
