The Nike Air Max 90 “Easter” Arrives with Iridescent Hits
The first quarter of any given year is always stacked with special-edition sneaker drops. With Chinese New Year, Black History Month, All-Star Weekend and Air Max Day all filling up the front end of the calendar, you would think brand might take their foot off the gas entering Q2 — but with Easter on the horizon, you can guarantee out wallets won’t have any time to recover. Having already sighted the holiday’s Air Force 1 Lowand Nike SB Dunk High, we now get looks at the sneaker in the spotlight’s Easter offering — the 30th Anniversary Air Max 90.
The pair’s white upper opts for three differing materials; white mesh unders, heavily-tumbled leather overlays, and smooth leather mudguards while matching laces, lower lace stays and midsoles complete the pair’s vibrant base. Atypical Easter themes come by way of subdued dark blues and purples in place of systematically-used pastels, while iridescent Swooshes that incorporate the aforementioned colors arrive on the profiles, and a cracked Easter Egg motif caps off the tongue and insole detail. Underfoot you’ll find a dual-colored flecked outsole in beige and purple, and an obscurely-placed hit of volt in the Air Unit completes the design.
A release date for the Nike Air Max 90 SE “Easter” did not accompany the official image set below, but you can expect pairs to hit select retailers like Foot Lockerand Nike.com over the coming weeks before Easter arrives mid-April.
