The Nike Air Max 90 Adds Aqua Accents to OG Blocking

Update 04.14.23 Official Nike.com imagery for this new Air Max 90 has landed; A release date has been penciled in for August 1st.

Original Post 01.17.23 With Air Max Month mere moments away, several of the Swoosh’s classics have been preparing for a big season ahead. One of those is the evergreen Air Max 90, with Tinker’s legendary design appearing in yet another new colorway.

The pair borrows OG color-blocking with a bevy of white and black accents joined by vibrante pops of aqua blue. Blocked and built in fairly typical tooling, the pair proffers a pure white mesh upper, with toe/midfoot overlays of grey, and mudguards of jet black. It’s surrounding plastic panels, and eyestays work teal into the mix, with further pops surfacing at the tongue branding, Air casette, and at the toe of the outsole. A simple white midsole rests underfoot, with a predominately black rubber outsole rounding out the design.

A release date for this all-new Nike Air Max 90 “Freshwater” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit Nike.com soon.
