Now, following on from its appearance in seersucker last Summer, the Nike Air Max 90 Golf “Picnic” takes center stage, as it honors Nike’s 50th annual family outing.

Nodding wicker baskets and gingham lining, the pair’s immediately recognizable in its classic picnic aesthetic. The former is represented on the golden woven upper, with the fairly obvious overlays and tongues unmistakable in nature. There’s more to it, though with fine details done up in picnic specifics, like ketchup and mustard packet-inspired tongue tags, crip-cut Checks that nod disposable napkins, and — our favorite feature — red aglets dressed with mustard squiggles to mimic a freshly-served hotdog. The pair is then completed by special graphic insoles that honor Nike’s 50th anniversary of the corporate event.
