Nike Air Max 90 Golf “U.S. Open” Honors Long Island

Nike Golf is heading to Long Island for the 2026 U.S. Open with a special-edition Nike Air Max 90 Golf built around one of the sport’s most historic settings.

With the tournament set to take place at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club from June 18–21, 2026, Nike has prepared a themed Air Max 90 Golf that leans into the coastal character of the Hamptons while keeping the silhouette clean and wearable.

The pair arrives in a soft mix of cream, sail, and muted green tones, giving the classic Air Max 90 shape a calm, course-ready feel. Rope-style laces add a nautical touch, while the side Swoosh appears with a subtle iridescent finish and green outline. Around the heel, special Nike Golf tags nod to the tournament setting, adding just enough event-specific detail without overwhelming the design.

The storytelling continues underfoot and inside the shoe. The insoles feature a custom map-style graphic filled with golf flags, anchors, sailboats, fish, trees, and coastal references, finished with “Nike Golf” text and a “Greetings from The Hamptons” postcard motif. It is a smart way to tie the shoe back to Long Island without leaning too heavily on obvious red, white, and blue themes.
