Nike’s sustainable aesthetic is popping up on just about everything of late — so why not one more? This time around it’s the 30th-anniversary Air Max 90 than dons the Earth-friendly duds, appearing in a thematic akin to this recently revealed Air Force 1 Low. Like that pair, this too features a Celetine Blue-tinted Grind-rubber-infused outsole, with overlays arriving in recycled marl grey canvas. Tongues are also done-up in a confetti-like finish that’s akin to another of Nike’s sustainable efforts, the VaporMax 2020, whilst accents in Barely Volt carry over to this release, too, hitting the tongue and rear branding, Air supports and exposed Swoosh stitching. The pair is then complete with white leather Swooshes, Vast Grey eyelets, Air cassettes and branding panels, and a grind-infused yellow insoles.
Take in an official look at this Air Max 90 NRG here below, and expect to see these hit a bevy of Nike stockists and Nike.com on August 20th for $140. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates on its release.
In other Nike news, there’s a new Air Force 1 inspired by plastic bodega shopping bags on the way.
