Nike Air Max 90 “Laser” Lands June 2nd
With COVID-19 delays ruining sneaker release schedules for almost the entirety of 2020, it was inevitable that we’d see a slew of straggling celebratory Air Max 90 sneakers. The well-documented delay of the “Bacon” Air Max 90 for Air Max Day will now be joined by another latecomer, this one dubbed the Nike Air Max 90 “Laser”.
As intriguing as the all-over topographical texture is, it’s the one-piece build that’s got this guy excited. Save the rear overlay and tongue, the upper arrives as a singular shell. There are No overlays or plastic panels, nor is there mudguards or toe caps. The design lines are still there, though, with the lasering highlighting the curves and edges of Tinker’s iconic design. In between that, you’ll find the aforementioned graphic that channels terrain maps, while only a few select actions are left untainted in its original tumbled vachetta tan form — the Swoosh, collar, vamp, and tongue.
As you’d expect from a premium release of this caliber, the pair is capped with luxe leather liners and insoles, while elegant off-white midsoles and fawn rubber outsoles complete the design. liners.
A release date for this Vachetta Tan Nike Air Max 90 “Laser” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see these hit stores over the next few weeks — likely to be an addition to next month’s celebration of Air.
