Available Now // Nike Honors the OG “Infrared” with Molded Suede Edition of the Air Max 90

There appears to be big some plans in motion for the OG Air Max 90’s return, with an already stacked lineup of homaged releases ready to celebrate the sneaker’s 30th anniversary. This new offering is by far the most experimental, though, through its use of some traditional placements and its overarching color palette, it retains much of its original aura. Opting for a build in suede from toe-to-tail, the pair utilizes a rarely-seen molded suede effect to create a topography-like finish at the toe, collar, mudguard and tongue. te latter is done up in a dusty black hue, while the entirety of the upper below — save the traditional plastic panels — is dressed in a supple “Night Silver”. Sole units and the aforementioned ribbed panels stay true to OG — though you will notice that their branding embellishments have been redacted. Completing the design is the inclusion of flat waxed laces, and premium leather insoles — this time with Nike’s motif present.

Pairs of these premium Air Max 90s will be arriving at select retailers throughout Europe from November 15th, though a wider, global release is yet to be identified.
