The Nike Air Max 90 “Safari” Honors Two of Tinker’s Greatest Designs

Two of Tinker’s greatest Nike creations collide on this upcoming Air Max marvel, with his famed safari print merging with the brand’s third AM release for an audacious Air Max 90 “Safari”.

Inspired by the palette of the original Air Safari, this new premium pair tackles a like palate of orange, black, grey, and white, although it is inherently different all the same. Notably, this Air Max 90 arrives in proximately blacks, where the OG is split evenly between thee colors. The orange hue is significantly different, too, appearing much more saturated than the naturally-colored leathers on the ’87 icon. Forefoot safari print arrives on-point, whilst the pair’s crisp whites have moved from the midsole to the Swoosh. Orange accents around the horn provide visual balance, and the pair is completed with an intriguing safari-print laceset.
