Available Now // Nike Air Max 90 “Safari”

Two of Tinker’s greatest Nike creations collide on this upcoming Air Max marvel, with his famed safari print merging with the brand’s third AM release for this striking Air Max 90 “Safari”.

This isn’t the first time these two inspirations have merged, with Nike producing a pair directly influenced by Tinker’s OG Air Safari from 1987 last October. This option, whilst still heavily influenced by it, distances itself from its OG namesake by splitting the accenting orange hue into two distinct blocks of Chile Red and Pollen at the toe and tongue, and collar respectively. Both the vamp and toe-to-mid panel overlays don the signature safari print in grey and black, while accompanying accents of black and white throughout also honor Tinker’s wild creation. Branding throughout arrives tonal, save the striking white Swoosh, while material changes to the tongue tag (rubber) and eyestays/heel overlay (nylon) adds more subtlety to the pair. The release is then completed by safari print insoles and outdoor-inspired laces.
