In the sneaker world, the UNC colors have become as iconic as the next shoe it sits upon — the Air Max 90— thanks to its strong ties to Michael Jordan, and Jordan Brand’s continued support of the college post his playing days. That being said, the colors haven’t been exclusive to Jordan releases, either, with the trio of navy, cornflower blue and white gracing plentiful Swoosh silhouettes for decades. One that’s no stranger to the colors is the Air Max series, with the 90 next to take on the iconic palette for Summer.

Sporting a seasonal white mesh base, the 90 ushers in smooth leather and plastic overlays in navy, along with matching hits on the tongue, heel and sole unit. Vibrant Uni Blue wraps the upper’s profile with a toe-to-toe mudguard — also in smooth leather — while upper eyelets add-ons, heel Nike Air detail and the toe of the outsole also feature the light-blue hue.
