Nike Air Max 95 “Alien” is Available Now!

It hasn’t been as well documented as it’s 1990 counterpart, but the Air Max 95 is celebrating a big milestone in 2020, too: It’s 25th anniversary. And while we’ve seen a few crossovers — headlined by the OG-inspired Air Jordan 4 — we’re yet to see any original colorways added to the roster. While we wait out news on that, new colorways like this Air Max 95 “Alien” are quenching our thirst.

Seemingly the trend of Spring, iridescent overlays have been playing a pivotal role in Nike’s forthcoming catalog of drops, and it returns here, headlining the pair by-way-of it’s middle placement on the profile overlays. It comes sandwiched by two ultra-90s colors, teal and pink, with the rest of the sneaker arriving in classic black and white, utilizing nubuck and mesh respectively. Muted mint makes up both the heel panel and outsole, with a slightly more vibrant shade hitting the laces. It’s ripstop tongue and console both feature Swoosh-mouthed Alien heads, with the latter also utilizing the Swoosh to create an extra terrestrial-inspired pattern. Completing the design are red Air supports underfoot, and 3M reflective hits along the tongue and heel.
