The first five months of 2025 have been largely dedicated to the Nike Air Max 95's 30th anniversary. As part of its celebration, the Swoosh has rebuilt Sergio Lozano's iconic design with a bigger visible Air unit than found on most retros from the last two decades. All-new color schemes have enjoyed the modification, but original styles have reveled in the spotlight, getting as close as possible to their debuts. The silhouette's beloved "Grape" look is expected to get the Big Bubble-treatment in the first-half of 2026.

Shared to Instagram by user @bubblekoppe, the news arrives after a handful of AM95 looks have been confirmed to receive a plumper Air Max unit over the next year. The "Grape" finish—which features a "White/Court Purple/Emerald Green/Wolf Grey" color scheme—resembles a popular Air Jordan 5 that's expected to return Summer 2025.

Since 1995, the Air Max 95 "Grape" has been retrod a number of times, with the last accurate reissue having launched in 2015 as part of the silhouette's 20th anniversary. "Black Grape" and "Grape Snakeskin" iterations have delivered longtime fans of the original color scheme a taste of "Court Purple" goodness, but the impending Big Bubble retro is set to get as close as possible to the 30-year-old look.

Stay tuned for firm Nike.com release details and official photos. In the meantime, enjoy detailed shots of 2015's "Grape" drop below.
