Nike Applies "Black" Patent Leather to the Big Bubble Air Max 95

The Swoosh's Big Bubble revival of the Nike Air Max 95 has spent a lot of attention to some of the design's original ensembles. Over the last six months, however, the extra-cushioned proposal has also delivered Sergio Lozano's vision in all-new styles.

Recently, the 30-year-old silhouette emerged in a "Black" patent leather makeover that adds another tally to the growing list of the sneaker's modern looks. The glossy paneling appears at the tip of the toe, as well as at the uppermost profile overlay. Reflective silver accents join the mix via miniature swooshes, lace loops, and piping around the tongue, creating a stealthy aesthetic with some flair.

Underfoot, the Air Max unit keeps things simple. The surrounding foam and rubber below revert to a pitch-dark finish that helps deliver a versatile option for those looking to experience the Big Bubble ride.
