The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Appears in A Michigan Wolverines-Appropriate Makeover

The reworked Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble is set to follow up its return to original 'Neon' with handfuls of refreshing non-OG ensembles. Case in point?: A two-tone style reminiscent of the University of Michigan Wolverines.

While not officially linked to the collegiate sports program, the sneaker's 'Obsidian/Varsity Maize' finish would perfectly match any item showing off school spirit. Mesh around the tongue takes on the darkest shade found on the pair, just as the tooling's non-Air Max components do. Panels throughout the upper indulge in an understated dark blue that works in-tandem with golden contrast stitching and other accents to create a through-line to the Wolverines. The visible Air units underfoot also keep things on-theme, opting for the titular yellow color. The plump Air Max bubble at the heel features the seam that differentiates it from standard versions of Sergio Lozano's design from the last 20 years.
