The Nike Air Max 95 has celebrated its 30th anniversary in style. Over the last nine months, Sergio Lozano's design from 1995 has taken on a healthy mix of original color schemes and all-new ensembles. Ahead of the holiday season, the silhouette emerged in two zippered makeovers that harken back to 2001.
Unveiled via social media by StockX's Brendan Dunne, the style is scheduled to arrive in "Loyal Blue" and "Black" outfits. Both pairs forgo the patent leather builds with which the Swoosh introduced the Air Max Z in the early aughts for premium suede presentations. Uppers don zippered covers atop their traditional tongue-and-laced setup, while nature-inspired panels on the profiles indulge in uniform fabric looks.
Underfoot, the "Black" option keeps its stealthy aesthetic intact while the "Loyal Blue" pair sees a brown "El Dorado" hue take over most of the midsole. Visible Air units enjoy Big Bubble revamps, offering a build that's closer to Lozano's original vision than pairs from throughout the late 2000s and entire 2010s.
Firm Nike.com release details for the duo have yet to be disclosed by the brand, but both zippered styles are expected to launch between November and January 2026.
