The Nike Air Max 97 Joins the "Athletic Department" Collection

Nike Sporstwear's ever-expanding "Athletic Department" collection will welcome another silhouette, as Christain Tresser's Air Max 97 is next to appear as part of the broader series.

Merging retro charm with contemporary flair, this fresh version showcases a rich off-white mesh foundation, enhanced by overlays of inviting sail leather. The vibrant shades carry over to the nylon tongue, lining, laces, and midsoles, setting the stage for an array of University Blue accents. These can be found on the medial overlay and midfoot Swoosh, as well as the tongue tag, pull tabs, and rubber outsole. The insoles also embrace the blue hue and proudly display the collection's "Athletic Department" emblem, signifying its inclusion in the series.

The Air Max 97 "Athletic Department" will soon be available for purchase at select retailers and Nike.com on June 3rd.
