Nike Air Max 97 “Be True” Features Interchangeable Charm Bracelets

Though Pride Month is celebrated annually in June, Nike has made the event a year-round observance, as their “Be True” series of releases has seen sporadic drops throughout the calendar year. Keeping that rolling, the Swoosh has just unveiled this year’s Air Max 97 “Be True” — and it’s expected to arrive soon.

Though it keeps a broad spectrum of colors, Nike has toned things right down from the vibrant rainbow hues, instead opting for a more muted palette for spring. Here, you’ll note “Pink Oxford” crimp weave as the upper color, though it resembles more of a light beige. Its supporting colors work down the wavy overlays in muted blue, green, yellow, orange, and red, complete with frilly nylon detail. It eventually reaches a beige leather mudguard, here fixed with an interchangeable charm bracelet. All of this rests atop a clean white midsole, and an anthracite rubber outsole colored with more splashes of beige.
