Air Max 97 is Back in Black and Metallic Gold on Nov. 18th

For a sneaker that’s notoriously known for its audacious outputs, the Air Max 97 often at its best when it reverts to simple back-to-basics releases. This next effort does just that, returning to its absolute best by pairing it’s revered all-black base with hits of elegant metallic gold and luxe encrusted hardware.

For this release, the 97 is tuned up in signature black mesh, with softly-tumbled leather mudguards, and matching black overlays, sole units, and liners to boot. Glistening gold streaks run from the heel, around the toe, and back again, before meeting at a gold-branded heel ribbon. Midfoot mini Swooshes arrive in a textured metallic, whilst the pair’s special Swoosh dubraes feater an encrusted finish. Completing the design is a smooth metallic Swoosh set at the tongues, gold foil insole branding and Air supports painting in a matte metallic finish.

A release date for this Black and Gold Air Max 97 is still unknown, but it is likely to arrive at select stores like Foot Locker and Nike.com in the coming weeks.
