Throughout its history, the NIKE, Inc. conglomerate has brought countless playful makeovers to some of its most-important performance footwear styles. The Nike Air Max Plus, a running sneaker designed by Sean McDowell in 1998, debuted to the world in colorful ensembles that opened the floodgates to dozens of eye-catching looks over the last 28 years. One such example is the "Spider Web" pair first seen in October 2020.

According to Romania's Sneaker Market, the "Black/Limelight"-colored Air Max will return between October and December as part of the Swoosh's Holiday 2026 calendar. When it launched, the thematic Tuned Air model flew relatively under the radar, with some faithful fans of Halloween-themed Nikes swiftly adding the spooky pair to their collections as others were distracted with different seasonal offerings from Nike. Original editions of the "Spider Web" Air Max Plus are currently going for up to five-times its $170 MSRP on the after-market platform StockX. Whether or not someone pays the asking price is yet to be determined, but the high resale markup is indicative of the OG's relative rareness.

At quick glance, the Air Max Plus isn't particularly different from two-tone styles released for the fall and winter seasons, but close inspection reveals otherwise. Mudguards and synthetic leather panels on the spine opt for grey-colored spider web graphics. The "Limelight" TPU overlays across the upper glow in the dark, just as parts of the outsole.

Enjoy official photos of the "Spider Web" Air Max Plus ahead. The Holiday 2026 re-release is reported to have the same Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) as the drop from 2020 (DD4004-001). Pairs should become available via Nike.com before November begins.
