With Air Max Day fast approaching, one could easily be forgiven that it’s as close as it is, especially with all the distractions of recent world events. Adding to the heavily stacked lineup — most of which come in some themed arrangement — is this simplistic-yet-colorful Nike Air Max 97

This latest release delivers the same color palette as this matching Air Max 90, with uppers completely color-blocked in a white-out that’s comprised of a mixture of leather and tight mesh, tooled expertly to establish the AM97’s unique lines and profile. At the foundation of the shoe and anchoring down the design is a white midsole that’s framed by a hyper pink rubber outer sole resulting in beautiful contrast to the remains of the shoe. The other splashes of color on the shoe are the green pinstripe on the upper and purple saturating the swoosh, Air cushioning unit, tongue TPU, and heel pulls.

A release date for the pair has been set by retailers Dick’s for Air Max Day, March 26th, for a retail price of $170.
