The Air Max 97 Arrives in a New Olive Arrangement

Nike is preparing to introduce a novel iteration of the iconic Air Max 97, taking the well-loved silhouette on a fascinating detour into new material and colorway territory.

This new release is designed with a keen sense of adventure, blending an array of interesting textiles to create a shoe ready to brave the great outdoors, all while retaining the comfort of the signature full-length Air Max cushioning system.

The colorway opts for an olive base that dominates a significant portion of the shoe. The canvas upper and the suede overlay running from toe to heel cloak themselves in this somber green shade, echoed in the glossy midsole. This stark backdrop of olive serves as a perfect stage for the other features to shine.

Adding to this dynamic palette, a lively contrast of sail breathes life into the shoe's upper half. The repeating TPU panels, tongue construction, laces, and collar all benefit from this pale, light-reflecting hue, creating a wonderful interplay between the darker and lighter elements of the shoe.

In an intriguing twist, a thin mesh veil shrouds the mid-foot window, partnering with a burnished orange Swoosh to further enrich the aesthetic landscape of the design.

The release for this revamped Air Max 97 will go down on Nike.com in early October, 2023 and will retail for $175
