The Air Max 97 Appears in Olive and Bone

Nike is preparing to introduce a novel iteration of the iconic Air Max 97, taking the well-loved silhouette on a fascinating detour into new material and colorway territory.

At first glance, the sneaker features a ripstop upper in a rich olive hue, setting the stage for a tastefully designed masterpiece. The tonal overlays, including the laces and liners, maintain a consistent and understated aesthetic. However, it's the thoughtfully placed contrasts that truly elevate this design. Meshed midfoot panels and tongues introduce a calming bone hue, perfectly balancing the dominant olive tones.

The real showstopper lies in the suede mudguard overlays and midsole units, where the bone color takes center stage. These elements not only introduce a striking visual contrast but also add a layer of texture and depth to the otherwise technical composition. To add a touch of intrigue, pops of black appear sporadically, such as along the medial line and the midfoot mini Swoosh, offering subtle yet impactful accents to the design. The release for this revamped Air Max 97 will go down on Nike.com in early before 2023 ends and will retail for $175.
