Available Now // Nike Air Max 97 “Gundam”

Nike US has just issued a restock of the Nike Air Max 97 "Gundam" on their official webstore.

Gundam colorways are always fan favorites due to their oft-patriotic and use of vibrant primary colors. The most notable, of course, is the OG Air Max 98, of which made a return to retailers back in 2018. Now it’s time for the silhouette’s predecessor to take on the tri-color palate, pairing a white base with reds and blues, resulting in an instant classic for 1997’s marquees Air Max trainer.

Locked down in white mesh, the pair comes overlayed by light blue reflective overlays above a bold red and navy medial wave. Wrapping that is a tumbled white leather mudguard, and it all sits atop a crisp white midsole. Liners and outsoles balance perfectly, arriving in dark navy, while light blue returns on the Air support and tongue liner. Capping off the design are red pulls tongue details, and navy checks throughout.
