These Air Max 97s are Made to Match Your Jersey

For decades, sneakerheads have been buying jerseys to match their kicks (we see you, Conceited). But now Nike is flipping the coin, creating a pair of sneakers to match your jersey.

Using classic sports uniforms for inspiration, this “Jersey” edition of the Nike Air Max 97 rocks a white mesh material typically used on basketball or football jerseys. It’s paired with white leather overlays, and capped off with highlighted with blue, red and silver racing stripes, on the overlays, heel pulls and outsole.

A release date has been for the Air Max 97 “Jersey,” with pairs expected to hit Nike.com and the other retailers listed below on Feb. 8th.
