The Nike Air Max 97 Surfaces in Metallic Silver and Chlorine Blue
Air Max 97 options are appearing thick and fast as we enter the early months of the silhouette’s 25th anniversary, and the next pair at the plate appears to boast heavy influence from another original colorway from 1997.
Ostensibly honoring the OG “Polar Obsidian” color scheme, the pair brings about an original flavor through its silver mesh uppers, metallic mudguard overlays, and white-and-blue sole units. From there, navy blue beef up the top half, with overlays and puls adding some weight, before pops of Chlorine Blue are worked into the Air supports, midfoot Swooshes, and tongue branding to complete the design.
A release date for this OG-inspired Nike Air Max 97 in Metallic Silver/Chlorine Blue is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com in both men’s and women’s sizing over the coming weeks.
