In the midst of its 25th-anniversary celebration, the Nike Air Max 97 has seen quite a few new iterations, including a handful sporting denim duds and one that’s received an outdoor-inspired overhaul as part of the Swoosh’s impending “Utility Pack.” Its next effort also explores some atypical avenues, with this new black and pink option ushering in unique blocking and a mix of textiles.

Anchroed by an Air Jordan 4-like mesh upper — here in salmon pink — the pair looks to tonal reflective overlays and pills, with Swoosh branding and Air supports to match. It’s broken up by bole black leathers along the mid panel and guards, and is capped off with piercing whites along the liners, laces, and sole units underfoot.
