After a brief slow-down in production, the Air Max 97 is picking up steam as it prepares itself for a big 25th-anniversary celebration throughout 2022. One of those expected to join the party is this subdued-yet-premium effort, the Nike Air Max 97 “Off-Noir”

Reminiscent of this Air Force 1 LX of the same name, with identical two-tone construction, a matte nubuck finish, and a premium range of materials, too. It even shares white branding at the tongue. For this Air Max 97, as the design allows for more materials, you’ll note muted mesh uppers and tonal 3M overlays, waxed laces, and tonal midfoot Swooshes, with a simple two-tone sole unit sitting underfoot. Joining the aforementioned Swoosh at the tongue are white. Air Max wordmarks in the rear, and Checks on the insoles to complete he design.

A release date for this new Nike Air Max 97 “Off-Noir” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming months.
