The Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape Surfaces in Sail and Black
This latest interpretation of Christian Tresser’s iconic design further propels the brand's sustainability initiatives.
The revamped Terrascape 97 upper comes with a combination of knit and fuse materials, resulting in a design that is at once familiar and refreshing. The design's key feature, the Swoosh, is enlarged and strategically placed closer to the collar, creating a stark contrast against the off-white background.
The "Sail" colorway is not just confined to the upper alone. It tastefully extends to the Air Max bubble, forming a cohesive visual statement. Furthermore, in line with the brand’s eco-conscious ethos, the conventional foam across the midsole has been replaced with Nike Grind, an upcycled material. The outsoles too have been given an eco-friendly upgrade, thereby rounding out the Terrascape iteration of Nike's 26-year-old performance running model.
These official photos offer a preview of what to anticipate from the forthcoming release. The Nike Air Max Terrascape 97 in "Sail/Black" is expected to hit Nike.com in July.
