The Air Max 97 is Available Now in Canvas and Chenille

Canvas and chenille construction is the next in-vogue collection for Nike’s Air Max series, with this new Air Max 97 joining a similarly-built Air Max 90 for Spring.

Rocking out in a full white canvas construct with tonal branding, eyestays, and overlays, the pair has chosen some daring accents to stand out. First, plush laces provide some textual contrast up top, with a striking chenille Swoosh at the midfoot not only buys into the season through color but also through the material. Like the aforementioned Air Max 90, this pair’s mostly-pink sole units feature a gradient effect, as well as airbrushed floral insoles to round out the design.
