Nike Air Max BW Surfaces in New “Sport Red” Color Scheme

Though its 30th anniversary concluded on January 1st, there are still a few straggling releases of the Air Max BW that are kicking on into the new year. One of those which was originally scheduled for last year was this Nike Air Max BW “Sport Red” which brings a heritage Bulls flavor to the sneaker — a fitting combination given that the sneaker’s formative years aligned with the huge success of Nike, Michael Jordan, and the NBA franchise.

Anchored in pure white mesh, the pair looks to tonal textile and leather overlays, before introducing striking black guards and red-hot accents to the rear end. You’ll find Swooshes, tongues, upper eyestays, collars, and Air cassettes all featuring the titular hue before a simple white and black sole units completes the design underfoot.
