As Spring 2024 approaches, sneaker enthusiasts are set to welcome back a classic that holds a special place in basketball and sneaker history: the Nike Air Max CB 94 “Old Royal.”
The legendary Charles Barkley notably wore this iconic sneaker during the 1994 season with the Phoenix Suns, with it's bold and aggressive design by Tracy Teague effortlessly capturing the unapologetic spirit of Sir Charles on the court.
The "Old Royal" edition of the Nike Air Max CB 94 is a harmonious blend of White, Black, and Old Royal colors. The White leather upper, adorned with perforations for improved breathability, is the canvas on which the contrasting elements are painted. Black mesh tongues, inner lining, and meticulous detailing provide a stark contrast, while the Old Royal accents, found on the Air-cushioned midsole's forefoot, inner tongue lining, and bootie, inject a vibrant energy into the design.
The pair last returned in 2021; Next year's re-release is expected to drop undr the same style code (DD8557-100)
