With the Nike Air Max CB 94 unveiled earlier this year in its OG stylings, you could have safely bet that a bevy of fresh new takes would follow soon after. Well, you haven’t had to wait too long to see a follow-up, with this almost Triple Black Air Max CB 94 appearing on the airwaves earlier today.
As the name suggests, the pair is blacked-out from toe to tail, or so it seems, with two small pops of royal blue breaking up the otherwise monochromatic make. Both of those blue flashes are found at the heel — one underfoot, one stowed away in the Air unit — with the rest fo the sneaker drenched in a solitary hue. Contrast is delivered through the pair’s use of differing materials, with heavily tumbled leather uppers offering up a low-shine finish in contrast to the light-dampening jet black nubuck overlays. Branding is murdered-out in a matte finish that complements the rubber outsole — but it’s not all doom and gloom, with metallic silver mesh and bright white insole branding providing somewhat of a bright spark to an otherwise ominous release.
