Lately, Nike has been concentrating on early-90s sneakers, particularly in the realm of vintage basketball shoes, which have become increasingly popular among nostalgic collectors. Penny Hardaway's footwear continues to maintain its timeless appeal, while Nike has gradually released several of Scott Pippen's More Uptempo models. The Foamposite is poised to become a major contender in the coming year, too, but there's another classic model that's recently been flying under the radar, the Nike Air Max CB 94.
Charles Barkley's signature line, last seen in 2020, is also anticipated to play a significant role in 2023. This year, fans can expect the return of Chuck's "Triple Black" Nike Air Max CB 94 to store shelves. The sneakers, previously released in 2020, will be reintroduced with a fresh style code, but are expected to retain the same design as the previous release, showcased in the images above and below. The updated version will once again feature all-black nubuck and leather uppers, stealthy black soles, and subtle hints of blue on the outsole heel and Air supports.
Nike US has just confirmed the re-release of the pair for October 5th, with pairs set to hit Nike SNKRS from 10:00 am ET, retailing for $170.
