The Nike Air Max Craze "Laser Orange" Releases April 29

The cult-favorite Nike Air Max Craze has long been rumored to receive a proper retro in 2025. As the world awaits for the sneaker to return in its original 'Black/Bright Citrus' colorway, the model has appeared in a new 'Laser Orange' makeover.

Developed exclusively for women, the retro product harkens back to the year 2000. As one of the Nike Alpha Project's many niche products, the Air Max Craze falls in line with the current sneaker zeitgeist. The running-inspired upper and sole unit heavily indulge in a yellowish 'Laser Orange' color perfect for summer. Hits of Air Jordan-approved 'University Blue' arrives across branding and other accents; visible Air units also follow suit. Lastly, the outsole underfoot nods to Nike Running's earliest days with its 'Black' detailing, although the tread pattern is much more representative of the Swoosh's design language at the turn of the century.
