The Nike Flyknit Racer is back big this summer — but not as you’d expect. For 2022, the Swoosh has redeployed the lightweight trainer with Air Max Pre-Day sole units, thus giving the pair a little more oomph in the performance department. Now, after appearing in a slew of OG-inspired colorways, the silhouette has surfaced in something new.
Here, it rocks orange and tan woven uppers, with its classic marked finish working back from the toe to the heel. Overlays and rear caps of tan leathers work with color-matched laces, though there is an extra set of white, before blacks fill in the tongue, sockliner, and pulls. A bold blue Swoosh sits at the midfoot, with insoles and tongue branding to match. All of this then sits atop a simple white and black sole unit beneath.
Though a release date for this all-new Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer has not yet been disclosed, it is expected to arrive during the summer of 2022. Until then, you can enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below and keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates on its release and any subsequent colorways.
