The Nike Flyknit Racer returned in the middle of 2022 with a big tweak, with the Swoosh redeploying the lightweight trainer with extra underfoot support courtesy of Air Max Pre-Day sole units. The pair were welcomed by a warm reception and has since seen a steady run of colorways towards the tail end of the year. It now appears that the model will continue into the new year, with the first and official looks at a new “Volt/Black” color scheme appearing by way of official Nike.com imagery.

Supported by bold black and crisp whites underfoot, the pair is championed by a black and volt woven upper. The latter hue is more prominent on the lateral side, but it also shares the toe with black. It’s heel and eyestay overlays arrive in tonal, shocking hues. A black tongue, medial panel, and sock liner complete the design.

Though a release date for this all-new Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer “Volt/Black” has not yet been disclosed, it is expected to arrive soon.
