Nike’s Air Max Plus 3 “Hyper Violet” Finally Set for Release

After a lengthy preview, GS-exclusive drops and more, a release date for the Air Max Plus 3 “Hyper Violet” has been set, with retailers SNS listing the drop for November 30th, at 9.00 CET ( 3:00 am ET) for $180. If you can’t make that early drop, pairs shouldn’t be releasing too far behind at Foot Locker and Nike.com.
OG Post 09.02.19 // That’s right, the overly aggressive and often forgotten Air Max design that is the Air Max Plus 3 will be returning in 2019 — and while it’s already been documented that there are six colorways on the way for the resurrection, Nike hasn’t forgotten about the kids, either. Backing up that catalog of audacious Air comes to the boldest palate yet, this Black and Hyper Violet edition.
Tuned-heads still hold the TN3 as their second favorite silhouette, and it’s easy to see why. Gone are the vertical wavy cage overlays, opting for an aerodynamic aesthetic, one which progressed from the Air Max Plus II’s Air Max 97-like fixtures. And unlike the TN2, which experimented with suedes, the III went back to its roots of mesh, leather, and heavy-handed plastic hits, as well as returning to a similarly-styled sole unit. This pair sees the iconic gradient mesh return, ranging from pink to yellow in a sunset-esqe finish, while vivid purple plastic overlays ass even more vibrancy to the stacked saturation. In the rear, you’ll find classic black plastic popped with the Tn logo’s bold yellow hue, while a classic white midsole and black rubber outsole complete the design.
