Nike’s Air Max Plus keeps on coming. The year-round silhouette is relentless in its releases throughout the calendar year, with Spring/Summer drops falling left, right and center. Next up for the aesthetically-agressive silhouette is this bold black and red rendition that packs on gradients and textures in equal parts.

Starting with a University Red mesh upper and a jet black sole unit, the pair tacks on a black-to-red gradient cage overlay — a finish that is matched at the midfoot shank. The red tongue tip and the black mudguards and heel overlays all come finished in an elephant print-like cracking, while a white-outlined Swoosh sits prominently at the midfoot. Completing the design is a high-sheen black plastic toe cap, and all-red liners, laces, and insoles.
